How does Scoreboard OCR Offline Yearly subscription licence work?
- When you purchase Offline Yearly subscription licence for the first time, you also need to purchase a USB dongle, which can be done here
- USB dongle is a USB flash drive that will act as a physical 'key' that you attach to the computer on which you wish to run Scoreboard OCR
- Only when USB dongle is attached to the computer you will be able to run Scoreboard OCR
How to use a new offline licence ?
- Make sure that you have at least Scoreboard OCR version 23.10.11 installed (but we recommend to use the latest version)
- Download and install Wibu CodeMeter. This software provides an offline solution for licencing and will run in the background
- Plug in your USB dongle
- Remove internet connection (to make sure that the offline licence works as expected)
- Start Scoreboard OCR
How to use a new offline licence on multiple computers ?
- Follow the instructions above on all computers, where you want to use Scoreboard OCR Offline yearly subscription licence
- Feel free to move the USB dongle from one computer to a different computer to be able to use Scoreboard OCR on multiple computers (but not at the same time)
How to activate or extend an existing offline licence ?
- Plug in the USB dongle, go into CodeMeter and click “Licence update”, choose “Create licence request”
- Send us the licence request file
- We will send you back the licence update file
- You will need import the licence update into CodeMeter and the USB dongle will be updated
- This procedure needs to be repeated for each USB dongle provided by Scoreboard OCR to extend the licence
